What if I did not study in the Maldives? Will I still be eligible?

If you meet the above eligibility criteria, your application will be accepted even if you did not study in the Maldives. However, if you did not take the Cambridge O’Levels, please provide a scoresheet along with your school transcripts.

What is covered under the scholarship and do the parents have to provide any?

Everyone has the right to a quality education, whether they can pay for it or not. Our scholarship packages are comprehensive to cater to varying needs. Each year, the national committee receives from the UWC schools and colleges a specific number of places (which may include a scholarship, bursary/partial scholarship or fee-paying place) for which they select students to study the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. 

When will the selection camp and interviews be held for those who are shortlisted?

The selection camp is scheduled for 17-18 January 2025 and interviews are scheduled for 31 January 2025.
