Written Application

The first step of the UWC Maldives selection process involves submitting the written application. Each year the national committee opens up an application which requires interested candidates to give a brief overview of their backgrounds, interests, academic and extracurricular profile. The written application is evaluated to shortlist candidates for the next step in the selection process. The UWC Maldives is now accepting applications for the 2025-2027 cohort. Please fill in the application below and email to selections@mv.uwc.org by 22 December 2024.

Selection Camp

Candidates who are shortlisted based on the written application are invited to a 1-2 day camp where they will participate in a variety of activities that will help the selection team to get a better understanding of the candidate.  Applicants will once again be evaluated after the camp and only short-listed candidates will be invited for the interview.

Interview

The last step of the selection process is the personal interview. The candidate will sit before a panel including UWC alumni and individuals from other organisations.
